Besides my family, my two loves have always been horses and art. I've been lucky enough to have always had horses in my life, and the art is the drive that was simply born in me. Thank you, Dad, for passing along those genes, and thank you, Mom, for giving me the good sense to use it...

My studio is the entire upstairs of my home, where I can look out upon my horses and the green pastures of our farm. It makes for a wonderful environment to be creative, and I can stay in touch with my family as well. What more can an artist ask?

When I'm not painting or sewing, I am riding my horses. My addiction, oops, sport of choice, happens to be endurance and competitive trail riding. Nothing clears the cobwebs from my brain so well as the wind in my face, the power of a good horse under me, and good friends with which to share the splendor of the outdoors.

I am truly blessed.
